An up-rated version of the original Opticron HR, the SR.GA offers excellent standards of optical performance and manufacturing quality in a traditional porro prism format.
Simplicity of design (the binoculars are not waterproof) coupled with the highest available grade of glass components mean that all four models deliver stunning resolution - matching many roof prism binoculars costing twice the price. In addition each model benefits from a 'combination' multi-coating meaning different 'coating types' are applied individually to different components within the optical system. More costly than a universally applied single multi-coating, the process has an appreciable effect, improving colour contrast in bright sunlight at midday or low light at dawn and dusk.
The lightweight body is finished in a contoured natural rubber that completely covers the instruments in a protective skin. The semi-circular rib patters deliver positive handling in all weather conditions with or without gloves. Models 8x32, 10X42 and 12.5x50 feature wide-angle eyepieces. Full field of view with glasses is obtained on the 8X42, 8.5x50 and 10x50.
SR.GA binoculars are supplied with a comprehensive 30 year guarantee and are supplied complete in soft leather case with 31010 rainguard, wide nylon lanyard and objective lens caps.
